Toby Roland-Jones made his Middlesex first class debut in 2010 and instantly made an impression on the County Championship circuit picking up 36 first-class wickets in his first season. Since 2010, Toby has been a key member of the Middlesex XI, and his consistent performances saw him first be called up to the England Lions in 2016 before making his full England debut in 2017.
Toby made a startling entry into Test cricket, when he removed South Africa's top four with his first 33 balls in Test cricket. Toby went on to take five wickets in the innings and eight in the match, the best start to an England bowler's Test career since 1962.
Toby is sure to play a key role with England in the coming year and Kinross Sport are very excited to be a part of Toby’s exciting journey.
John Simpson, a neat and reliable wicketkeeper, is hugely admired amongst the Middlesex supporters who have proposed him for England Test honours throughout his career.
John joined Kinross Sport in 2016, a year that proved to be a landmark in his career, as he was an ever-present part of the Middlesex Championship winning team that year. Maintaining his status as one of the country’s elite glovesmen, John claimed 50 dismissals behind the stumps, whilst also making vital contributions with the bat including a hundred against Hampshire, and a sublime 79 not out from 80 balls.
Thanks to his clean-hitting and brilliant stroke play, John often opens the batting or bats at three for Middlesex in the T20 format.
